Govt Rejects Pti’s Resignations from Standing Committees

The government has decided not to accept the resignations submitted by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) members from different standing committees. Sources said on Friday that the authorities are still making efforts to convince PTI to remain part of the parliamentary process rather than walking away from it.

According to details, the government has started fresh contacts with the parliamentary leadership of PTI to discuss future cooperation. Officials have urged the party to review its policy on resignations and to play an active role inside the parliament.

A new offer for dialogue has also been put forward to PTI in an attempt to resolve the ongoing political differences. The government has stressed that talks are the only workable way to address all outstanding issues, and it has once again conveyed this message to the opposition party.

This move shows the government’s focus on avoiding a political deadlock and keeping the parliamentary process functional through negotiation and dialogue.
