Bangladesh sealed a 2–0 victory in the three-match T20 International series against the Netherlands after the third and final game in Sylhet was abandoned due to rain. The hosts had reached 164 for four in 18.2 overs when play was stopped for the second and final time.
Captain Litton Das once again led from the front, scoring a fluent 73 off 46 balls, his second half-century of the series. Bangladesh had already secured the series with wins in the first two matches and made five changes to their lineup as part of their preparation for the upcoming T20 Asia Cup, which begins on 9 September in the UAE.

The innings faced disruptions, first with an 11-minute delay caused by floodlight failure, followed by a 35-minute rain interruption. Despite the stoppages, Litton played aggressively, reaching his fifty in just 27 balls, highlighted by a six over deep mid-wicket off spinner Daniel Doram. He was eventually dismissed by medium-pacer Kyle Klein, who also removed Shamim Hossain for 21 in the same over. Earlier, Tim Pringle had picked up the wicket of Towhid Hridoy for nine.
Nurul Hasan, unbeaten on 22, and Jaker Ali, not out on 20, put together a useful stand of 42 runs for the fifth wicket before heavy rain forced officials to call off the match.
With this result, Bangladesh completed a comfortable 2–0 series win and will now shift focus to fine-tuning their squad for the Asia Cup.
