She also shared a screenshot of a film role offer, in which she was invited to work for 500 yuan a day.
To this, Maggie replied, “I am now in Dongguan and have also gained some fame here, I will think. 500 yuan… Should I go to Hong Kong and film or continue working here?” Maggie said that she decided to quit acting in search of peace, security and certainty in life.
According to her, “Every day is busy in Dongguan, every day there is income. There is a lot of uncertainty in acting, sometimes you have to wait for six months or sometimes a year for a role.”
She added, “Here, hard work is rewarded immediately, so I will continue to do this work.”
