Apple Set to Unveil Iphone 17 Series on September 9

Apple has announced its next hardware launch event for September 9 at 10 am PT, where the company is expected to reveal the new iPhone 17 lineup along with updates to the Apple Watch and AirPods. Tech analysts say this could be one of Apple’s most important launches in years, with several redesigns and new devices expected.

The iPhone 17 series may bring bigger displays, upgraded cameras, and faster performance. Reports suggest that Apple is preparing a major shift in its smartphone lineup that could lead to a foldable iPhone by 2026. Among the highlights, the iPhone 17 is expected to feature a 6.3-inch 120 Hz screen, a 24-megapixel front camera, and new colour options including purple and green.

For the Pro models, Apple may redesign the rear camera system into a horizontal bar with sensors and flash arranged on one side. The iPhone 17 Pro could move to an aluminium frame, while the Pro Max may get a slightly thicker design to support a larger battery. Prices are expected to start at around $800 for the iPhone 17, $1,100 for the Pro, and $1,250 for the Pro Max.

One of the most talked-about rumours is the iPhone Air, expected to replace the Plus model. The iPhone Air may be Apple’s thinnest smartphone ever, measuring only 5.5 mm thick with a 6.6-inch display. It could compete with ultra-slim models from Samsung and Huawei. However, its thin body may limit the number of rear cameras and reduce battery life. Reports suggest it may launch at $899–$950, depending on configuration.

Apple is also preparing updates for its wearables. The Apple Watch Ultra 3 may bring 5G support, faster charging, and possibly satellite connectivity, while the Series 11 could add blood pressure monitoring and sleep apnoea detection. The SE 3 is expected to stay budget-friendly at around $250 with a slightly larger screen. Prices may go up to $800 for the Ultra 3.

In audio, Apple may launch the AirPods Pro 3. Leaks suggest a more compact design with touch controls, smaller earbuds, and a slimmer case. The new AirPods may drop the physical pairing button, allowing tap-based connectivity instead.

With a mix of new designs, slimmer devices, and health-focused upgrades, Apple’s September 9 event could set the tone for the company’s future.
