Quetta – A group of unidentified armed men blocked the Quetta-Karachi highway in the Mangocher area of Balochistan’s Kalat district and set multiple government buildings on fire, causing widespread disruption and damage.
According to Dawn News sources, the armed group erected barricades on the national highway, halting traffic completely. They stopped various vehicles, including passenger buses and private cars, and conducted searches, spreading panic among commuters.

The assailants later entered Mangocher Bazaar and took control of several government offices, including those of NADRA, the Judicial Complex, and the National Bank of Pakistan. These buildings were then set ablaze, resulting in significant property damage.
Sources reported that the attackers fled the scene before security forces arrived. Officials confirmed that a clearance operation has since been launched in the area, and traffic on the highway was restored late at night.
