Chinese Parrot Sets World Record for Sorting Colors

A pet parrot in China has captured global attention by breaking a Guinness World Record for its remarkable intelligence. The bird, named Xiaogui, has been officially recognized as the fastest parrot in the world at identifyingSuhana Khan faces heat over disputed land deal colors.

Xiaogui, adopted in 2020 by Chen Feng, achieved the record by sorting 10 different colors in just 33.5 seconds. The task required him to pick up colored balls and place them into boxes of matching colors. At one stage, Xiaogui placed a dark pink ball in the wrong box but quickly corrected his mistake, showing quick awareness that impressed the judges.

Guinness World Records has confirmed Xiaogui’s achievement, making him the fastest color-recognizing parrot in the world. His owner explained that the training began simply through play, as Xiaogui enjoyed playing with colorful balls. Feng then gradually trained him to sort colors, turning a fun hobby into a world-record performance.

The achievement is being celebrated across China and worldwide, not only as a proud moment for Xiaogui’s owner but also as proof of the surprising intelligence that animals can display when encouraged and trained with care.
