The earthquake also shook several towns in Punjab, including Chakwal, Talagang, Choa Saidan Shah, Kallar Kahar, Hasan Abdal, Kalabagh, Taxila, Wah Cant, and Kallar Syedan. Tremors were strongly felt in the capital city, Islamabad, and in Peshawar as well.

Although no immediate reports of casualties or major damage have surfaced, the powerful tremors forced people to leave their homes and gather in open spaces. Authorities are monitoring the situation closely while rescue departments remain on alert.

Earthquakes are common in this region due to its location near active fault lines in the Hindu Kush, where quakes of moderate to strong intensity frequently occur. Residents have once again been reminded to stay cautious and prepared for aftershocks.
