Veteran Bollywood star Govinda and his wife Sunita Ahuja celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi together at their Mumbai home on August 27, putting an end to rumours about trouble in their marriage. The couple, who have been married for more than thirty years, welcomed the festival with joy and devotion.
Govinda looked elegant in a maroon kurta, while Sunita matched him beautifully in a maroon saree. Videos from the celebration showed the couple performing the Ganesh puja with full devotion. After the rituals, they also greeted paparazzi outside their residence and distributed sweets as a gesture of love and gratitude. Actor Paras Chhabra, a former Bigg Boss contestant, was among the guests who joined the festivities.

Recently, there were reports of a possible separation between Govinda and Sunita. Addressing these rumours directly, Sunita said that people should not believe such talks unless the couple themselves confirm it. Her statement made it clear that the two continue to stand together as partners.
Govinda and Sunita are parents to Tina and Yashvardhan. Their daughter Tina made her Bollywood debut in 2015 with the film Second Hand Husband, while their son Yashvardhan is preparing to step into the film industry soon.
The Ganesh Chaturthi celebration not only reflected their devotion but also highlighted their bond as a family, putting to rest the speculations about their relationship.
