Gold became cheaper in the global and local markets and a decrease in the price per tola was recorded.
As the price of gold per ounce in the international bullion market fell by $15 to $3,330, there was also a downward trend in gold prices in the local bullion markets on Friday.
At the local level, the price of 24-carat gold per tola fell by Rs1,500 to Rs355,700 and the price of gold per 10 grams also decreased by Rs1,286 to Rs304,955.
In contrast to the decline in gold prices, the price of silver per tola remained unchanged at Rs 4,013 and the price of 10 grams of silver also remained unchanged at Rs 3,440.
