The United States has stated its intention to work with Pakistan Railways on initiatives, including modern infrastructure.
The agreement was made during a meeting between US ChargĂ© d’Affaires Natalie Baker and Federal Minister for Railways Hanif Abbasi in Islamabad. Stronger ties between the US and Pakistan, bilateral collaboration in the railway industry, and possible US investment in Pakistan Railways’ infrastructure were the main topics of discussion.

Abbasi emphasized the importance of the railway as a link between the four provinces and said that funding this industry is essential to the growth of the nation.
Baker reaffirmed the United States’ dedication to helping Pakistan Railways carry out cutting-edge initiatives. Stronger links and more cooperation between the two nations were agreed upon by both parties.
